The home is in a wonderful spot to enjoy all that Burlington has to offer, in a vibrant, active, youthful neighborhood located within walking distance of Church Street Marketplace, UVM, and Champlain College. A quick ride on the College St shuttle or a nice walk down the hill will take you to Burlington's waterfront park which offers, museums, restaurants, marina services, water sports, walking and biking trails. Church Street Marketplace is a premier pedestrian downtown with dozens of fine restaurants and retailers. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need to enjoy the indoor or outdoor spaces. Our home is a relaxing and comfortable place to base your stay in our great city and state! The main floor layout includes a full kitchen, dedicated dining room with seating for six and an ample living room with two sofas, large armchair and a beautiful gas fireplace. The full bathroom and three bedrooms are located on the second floor. The first bedroom features a king size bed, second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom offers two twin size beds. During warm weather the front porch or backyard areas are an excellent option for relaxing or barbecuing. The backyard also features a private outdoor hot tub exclusively for our guests use. We had gone up to bike the island line trail. We actually didn't do it until the day we left as it was warmer, and we were headed to Stowe next. Tricia gave us a good tip to start up in Colchester as the wind on the trail was a lot and if we started there we would be sure to enjoy the causeway which we did. The house was nice, had everything we needed. She gave us garage space to keep our bikes safe. Close to Charles St. market place so we could walk there as Burlington was busier than we expected. Good eats and shops plus walking on the waterfront. The only negative was that being close to everything it was occasionally noisy up until 11 but quiet after that. Those are the tradeoffs with being walking distance to downtown and UVM. Her house was very comfortable, well-stocked, and perfectly located. It was within walking distance to Church Street, the waterfront, UVM campus, the farmer's market, and more. A highlight was the comfy front porch where we would spend early evenings relaxing with a glass of wine. Tricia was incredibly responsive to any questions we had.
