The bed was very firm. Quiet area. Neighbor did not clean up dog poop, so we had to to not get blamed for it. Easy check in process. Communicative host. We liked the fishing decoration motif. Close by to many restaurants and activities. A bit of a drive to the National Park but it was very scenic. Bryson City had many good cafes/restaurants. About a 25-minute drive to Cherokee which has another park entrance entrance, horseback riding, lots to do....Kids liked having a fire pit at the cabin. CONS: We wished the towels, cabin, and dishes had been cleaner. Toaster was loaded with pet hair. Cabin had a \*horrifying\* smell upon our arrival. Finally we learned kitchen sink was clogged; management promptly fixed It, but the smell still lingered throughout our stay. So, we didn’t use kitchen to cook & just ate on front porch. ##### Linda R. Lock box with key was inoperable Property says fireplace....there is no fire place. There is a firepit.....no useful on rainy nights. Lock box to get key did not work. Had to wait on cold rainy night for 30 minutes to get key. Woke up to find the coffee pot also did not work. Lumpy old mattress. There where 4 of us and it was very comfortable and clean. Close to the train and all the Bryson City stuff. We enjoyed the 4 chairs around the fire pit.
