It is minutes away from tubing and the national park. Central is located to Cherokee and other attractions. We enjoy sitting on the deck and looking at the beautiful view. This trip I had my younger ages 4-19 and they loved the home. The only problem we had that the AC in the upper level went out for a day and half and we congregated in the lower level to sleep due to how hot it was. Someone did come out and fixed it while we went out. Coming from flat land you must be able to drive up the steep driveway and make a quick turn into the drive, make sure you watch for the rocks on your right side. By the end of the second trip I learned how to back out to the road without going over the hill. It is a lovely place for families and we plan on coming again next year. Fantastic location, super close to town and GSMNP. It is on a somewhat busy road, and the traffic is just frequent enough to remind you of that, but it's not bad. Beautiful deck and view. Main level is perfect for the elderly. The driveway is tricky, steep and a bit intimidating, but I had studied Google Maps and these reviews. Beds were fine. Very well stocked. So close to town but just far enough to feel secluded. Loved the openness and cooking dinner and then enjoying it out on the deck with the view of the mountains.
