"Not your typical hotel! This grand old home has been transformed into a fun, interesting, and clean place to stay. Lots of "home comforts" including a breakfast room, books to read, and games to play. The bathrooms are shared with other guests but were never occupied when I needed one. One thing to note is there are lots of steep stairs so it's not great if you have mobility issues. The only negative experience I had was with parking. "The location is perfect right on the river with a great view from all windows. There are day trip opportunities near by the Mt St. Helens Visitor center, small town Kalama and McMenimans w/rec area.
