Lovely spacious room just off the main square. Walking distance to everywhere. Staff very friendly. Breakfast OK. Unfortunately on the Saturday and Sunday nights, extremely loud music went on very nearby until approximately 4am. Thumping bass and the sounds of people shouting throughout the night was quite exhausting. On the Monday night, there was none of this - if every night had been the same it would have been an absolutely brilliant stay. I know this isn't the hotel's fault but ultimately it really affected the quality of our stay and we wouldn't go back because of it.

This was a great option for our stay in Bruges! Check in and check out was easy and we were even able to store our luggage in the restaurant before we left. The B&B is RIGHT in the middle of everything, which is awesome. Only thing: we happened to be staying there in the middle of a heatwave, so we were pretty hot at night, and with the window open, we could hear everything going on outside. Including a fan in the room for warmer months would be helpful. Otherwise, it was a great stay and lovely and spacious room!

we stayed in an interesting old property close to the restaurant . Our room was on the very top floor and not as nice as the rooms we had last year . Apart from this everything was excellent and the location couldn,t have been better .

Brilliant place for a break in Bruges
Excellent location, right in the centre of the city. The rooms were very big and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the manager was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

This property should say clearly in its description that they have no elevator. I’m 69. When they told me I was on the fourth floor I looked at room tested wifi which did not work at all and booked another hotel in the area by visiting it first. Fortunately, it was off-season. Unfortunately, I had a nonrefundable stay so gave up that money and will never choose that option again.

Dear customer, I understand your dissatisfaction. Indeed, not all rooms are accessible by elevator. There is no request for a lift in your reservation and nothing has been written about your age. I'm sorry it had to end like this. Another proof that communication is very important.

My room was on the fourth floor with very steep, narrow, winding stairs. It was very difficult to access, especially with lheavy luggage. There was no prior notice of no elevator and that I would be on the top floor with so many stairs.

Excellent location and very spacious room and bath. Negative was lack of A/C or even a fan on a very hot night requiring leaving the windows open above a very busy street with a very loud street crowd till we’ll after 2am.

Excellent location for touring!! Love the hotel offered parking because parking is scarce. Just remember to get all things from car as it is off property and valet parked. The FREE continental breakfast was delicious and fresh, perfectly light for our trip back home. Lovely stay.

Great for a weekend getaway
The overall stay was great. The check-in was smooth and the room was perfect. Unfortunately the bed broke the first night but they fixed it the next day 👍 The breakfast was awesome and the staff was extremely friendly.

The location is perfect. In Bruges it is a very busy city once all the tour buses arrive, having some peaceful time to sit a see the sights on your own and to snap those photos is must in my book. The location being at the city square allows you to be up early morning, and to see the buildings in the late evening when they are lit up. The photos without the mass crowds are big time keepers. Being so close to the square lets you take in all of Bruges, and to take breaks when you need. The accommodations are amazing and very spacious. There is a staircase but very accomodating, not like many of the very steep stairecases in Europe, this one is spiral and wide. Breakfast is simply amazing and finally the host is wonderful, as witnessed by our smooth and helpful check-in and by his engagement with fellow guests over breakfast. Would not hesitate to stay here again, or send anyone of my friends as a recommendation. Cheers

Needs overall renovation starting with strong smell from humidity that can be immediatelly noticed upon entering the facilities. No lift,nor A/C and practically no Wi-Fi. Staff, altough attentive, always seemed surprised with requests but addressed them immediately. Excellent location (if you can stand the noise) and superb breakfast while listening to Verdi arias

Mr Ricci, many thanks for your stay and feedback. You don't asked for a room with airco and indead , not all the rooms have acces to the lift. Again , you not asked by reservation.may be not use talcum powder next time, it will make it easier to clean your room. By check out you said : I have got a nice stay and now …….there is a general " safe" at the reception. Kind regards.

Huge, quiet, and comfortable room
When I was checking out I told the owner of the Verdi that it was almost criminal to have a room so nice in Bruges because I wanted to hang out in there all the time instead of going out in the city! I was only half joking, though, because you're right in the middle of the action at the Verdi so you can't help but go out, but the room I had was a quiet oasis with beautiful rooftop views and a very comfortable bed. From the moment I arrived, the service was spot on. I arrived a few hours before check in to drop my bag off and when I returned, my bag had already been placed in my room. Breakfast every morning was welcoming and high quality. And did I mention how nice the room was? Huge, quiet, and very comfortable. I can't imagine there's a better place to stay in Bruges.

No room at the Inn - dreadful customer service.
We had a very disappointing experience and this is the first bad review I have ever given . We booked six months in advance because this place looked so lovely and a bit special for our time in Brugge with our friends. Sadly, there was no room for us when we arrived. We were shunted off to a budget room in an inferior hotel. The situation was handled very poorly as we had no idea what was going on. Upon arrival our friends were carted off one way and us another. We didn't know where they were taken or where we were going - or even that we were going somewhere else. There was something confusing said about us being on different floors, but that was it . There was not a word of apology offered. When we eventually figured out what had happened - our mates got a room at the BNB but we didn't - we tried to get an explanation and were met with arrogance, defensiveness and obfuscation. We eventually got agreement from the manager that he would reduce our charge to match what we'd have had to pay at the cheaper hotel. Something that should gave been offered without having to ask at the very least!! We had sussed out the rate difference with the reception at the alternative hotel but we only got a reduction of about half what we should have. We again tackled the manager about that but he was adamant that he had refunded the difference between what we paid him and he paid the other hotel. Again no apology at all. The opposite in fact - he made it clear he did not care in the least.

2 hours of window for check in
Had 2 hours of window for check in and when I was late, they cancelled the reservation. They did not even call me to tell me of cancellation. They said they emailed Hotels.com but no message of any kind from Hotels.com either.

The location was fantastic. The room was not easy too access due to Avery steep spiral staircase. The room was also noisy in the early hours of the morning due to deliveries to retailers in the street. Apart from these 2 negatives the accommodation was ideal for our needs

The location could not be better for a city stay. The room very big bed comfy. The only two bad points are the view from room is non existent and the heating didn’t work looks as if it is controlled remotely. The staff and the service were excellent and the buffet breakfast was nice. The valet parking is excellent also.

Great breakfast, friendly staff
Really great location, right next to the main squares. Quirky building with a lovely spiral staircase, our room was in a quiet setting. A very good size to sleep 3. Appreciated the table and chairs and fridge. It was an easy walk to the get hot water/tea/coffee in the communal landing area, though it is dark until you step into the landing when the automatic lights kick in (could be a bit scary if you are alone). Good shower and water pressure. The breakfast was the highlight- simple, plentiful and just great quality ingredients- very slick process. Loved the coffee and the croissants! The staff were friendly and welcoming at all times. Overall a great place to stay

Great location. Right by Markt. Room was not ready until 3pm, although website said check in starts at 2pm, but they were nice about it at least. Breakfast was more like continental breakfast, not hot breakfast, which was not what I expected from a B&B. Staff was friendly though. Room was cozy and cute, but can get loud and hear everything that happens on the street late night and early morning.

Ideal hotel in Bruges
Although the hotel itself is in a different building, check in was quick and a person was ready to guide us to our rooms. The hotel is in a mansion with the original beautiful decoration and furniture. Rooms are spacious and the updated bathrooms are also large and comfortable with all the necessary. The excellent breakfast is served in a luxurious dinning room that houses the reception in the first building. This dinning place is a regular restaurant. Location can not be better, half a block the main Plaza...

Centrally located and easy to find. Greeted warmly, and our host knew exactly who we were without extra explanation. We were able to leave our luggage (as we were early for check-in) and it had been delivered to our room when we returned. We were escorted to our room (in another building from check-in location - only a short walk) and all was explained. Amazing room, very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, and powerful shower. Breakfast was tasty and substantial. Would highly recommend!
