My trip had a rough start but by the time i got to the hotel the night clerk Heaven was wonderful she went way above and beyond her duty to make it wonderful.

Hot tub was shut down. Permanently., Water pressure in shower very low, Beds are hard and the heaters give off an unsafe. Horrible smell when you turn them on, not to mention the t. V. Is incredibly quiet, though it is a relatively cheap property. Considering the location.

There was no laundry on site as advertised. There was no hot tub as advertised, it has been boarded up for two years. The pool was not heated as advertised. One of our rooms had a substantial water leak from another unit. The manager would not come out to talk with us even though he lives on site.

This area of earth, is spectacular. Many amazing beaches, pristine rivers & several Redwood forests/trails within 30-40 minutes, at most. The Inn is conveniently located & reasonable. Would definitely visit again.

My family goes at least once to Brookings per year. We love to be at the Brookings in. However on the last three times we have stayed the pool always have some issue. This time was too cold to be used. This is the reason I cannot give an excellent for the condition and facilities.

When we arrived; there was no one in the office to see about checking in early. We just drove 14hrs to get to the hotel; and we were super tired and needed to setup for our business meeting within hours.. So, we slept in our truck in the parking lot; then we attended our meeting with gross road trip feeling. Upon check in; the place was terrible; the floor was flooded by a mini fridge freezer that was defrosting smelled like dirty water; and soaked the floor in the sink area as well as 2 feet into the carpet. Walking on spongy wet hotel carpet is not my idea of a good time. The bathroom was terribly painted and paint marks on everything. floor molding and engineered flooring was beautiful - but bright white paint over all of it; ruined it. The Shower was gross; hair still on the walls and faucet. THe grab bar in the shower was filthy and looks like it wasnt washed in months. There was a slimy film on it. Brookings is a beautiful and rich filled town. I was very disappointed; my truck was a better option to sleep in... Further, on complaint - they only issued me a 50.00 credit for two nights... Never again.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. We actually left and didnt stay in our room. As soon as you walk in a very horrible disgusting smell hits you. I have heard that bed bugs will make a room smell, so i stripped the bed only to find the mattress covered in what looked like urine stains. That was enough for me and my husband to pack up and find somewhere else to stay. It was 10 o'clock at night when we checked in, there were people hanging around the parking lot and outside of the rooms. Im not sure these were even guests, but they may have been. I didn't feel safe leaving our car parked in the parking lot.

Very average motel 6 type property. Disappointed that they didn’t have a hair dryer in the room. Microwave was available in the office only.

First of all, we had a very poor impression when contacted by the hotel staff (which we are sure, was just doing their job) on a declined card (which, by the way, was unexpected since that card was in good standing). Then, when the staff member asked us where we were, they then advised that the room will be held for 1 hour, in a "come get it, or else" tone, disregarding the fact that we might have other places to go to. That is poor customer service, and this was probably the ONLY hotel we had this kind of issue with thus far. We are avid travelers and had stayed at numerous hotels, using the same card to hold our room. To say the least, this kind of customer service could use some improvement, and presumably, it was because of the weekends and most hotels are booked out? Whatever the situation may have been, we would not recommend staying here, and will never come back again. The receptionist who greeted us upon arrival was a different staff member, and she was nice.

They did not have a dog friendly room so we could not stay there. Had to go rent another hotel. Expedia wouldn't let me cxl the room evev though I tried several times. Not pleased!

short staffed on cleaning so our room wasn't ready but the nice front desk lady gave us a deal on a different room. extra caulking sludged around tub/not cleanable. Beds hard as a rocks. Pool area not checked for extra garbage and disgarded food left
