"This was our 5th visit to Ufford Park. We are always impressed. The rooms we choose have a balcony overlooking the golf course, are always clean and sufficient for what we need, with comfotable beds and a good shower. The balcony offers extra space during the warmer months. The breakfast offers a variety of food; cereals, rolls croissants, and a good english breakfast buffet. Hot drinks and juices are available. The lunch menu is good, and the diner menu has enough variety to have a different meal each night for several nights. The restaurant has comfortable seating, a good atmosphere, nice lighting and plenty of tables. The staff have always been polite, attentive and friendly. We've never used the golf course, the facilities have an indoor practice range, shop, as well as an 18 hole golf course with many bunkers and plenty of water. The spar facilities are also good. The swimming pool is a decent size, but can get crowded as it's popular, and the jacuzzi is fantastic. The gym is popular with members and visitors, and there are other spa/well-being services avaliable; beauty treatments, massage etc. We did use the thermal spa area once. It was good, but unfortunately at the time, some of it was out of order, and no partial refund was offered. Why only 4 stars? The bar/lounge area has changed over the years. We loved to sit on the many comfy sofas, spending hours relaxing with drinks and cakes in the lounge area. Now there are only 2 sofas left! Apart from that, its all good."

"We were made very welcome by Clare at the Owls nest. Upon arrival we found the the accommodation very warm and welcoming. We had everything we needed and more in this beautiful peaceful setting. The Owl nest was the perfect place to stay while visiting family who live close by."

"The cottage was extremely clean and there were so many amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, there was a giant closet for a longer stay, and a mini fridge for any food you need. There was a cute tea and hot chocolate bar that we took full advantage of. It also uses infared heating, which is so modern! This cottage is attached to the owners' house, but they managed to keep our space private and quiet. The owners were so polite and sweet, and it was lovely talking to them. Lastly, the garden was just beautiful. It would have been more so if we went in the summer (we came in december, haha), but it was still such a beautiful and perfect experience for the two of us. "Lovely hosts and a very generous cooked breakfast with quality ingredients and big pot of tea plus lots of toast! Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side. Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more."

"Ideal quiet location with country walks on doorstep. Nice biscuits for arrival with lovely fluffy towels and house facilities needed for our stay. Warm welcome from owner on arrival.With warm evening, I took the opportunity to sit out on patio. The property is a maisonette so some noise from above. But this did not affect our stay. Excellent location for Southwold, Aldeburgh, Framlingham and Woodbridge. Ideal property for our two small dogs. I recommend property if you after are somewhere secluded."
