"The room met my basic requirements: safety, security, working air conditioner and TV. Motel staff were friendly however this is the first place I've ever stayed in my life where they wanted a $60 cash-only deposit (lucky I had three $20s). Then when I checked out, I had to wait because they wanted to check my room -- another first-ever. Wireless Internet was very fast ("Wi-Fi 6") and the TV had a great selection of channels. Shampoo is not complimentary but they offered to sell me theirs in the lobby for $2/each. I'm afraid the biggest turnoff was the quality of the towels: after my shower, I was drying off and lots of tiny bits of dust and towel shedded and you could see it in the regular bathroom light. When I looked in the mirror, I had tiny white pieces of towel dotting my body. I felt dirty all over again. So that would be the only reason I would not stay again."

This is a lovely historic home with great character. We especially loved the proximity to downtown Bryan. We would definitely love to stay here again."

"Comfortable beds and bedding. Needs repair work on entry stairs and work on front and back yard appearance. The updating inside is well chosen and attractive. Was generally clean. Could use a deep cleaning. We only stayed one evening leaving next morning so were happy to have a cozy, affordable accommodation. "
