One side of the bed din't have an appropriate switch at all... there was only one table lamp for the entire room. One of the lamps was plugged into a faulty plug and the bulb blew. The shower water was way too hot and I couldn't tone it down. First night party in the pub until 1.30 am so kept awake, second night water company decided to start digging a hole outside the pub at 10.45 pm so very late to sleep again! No water to the pub due to a leak. Got up early to leave at 9am only to find hole in the road and access out blocked by the draymen delivering the beer so held up for half an hour. An easy drive to Bath, very welcoming staff and the bar below wasn’t loud to disturb our sleep at all. The bathroom is lovely and easy to use bath and shower. The plugs were far away from the bed and the only light source outside the sun was a single lamp.
