Brevig Mission is best visited during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is mildest and the daylight hours are longest.During this period, temperatures are typically above freezing, making outdoor activities more comfortable. The extended daylight, often lasting nearly 24 hours in June and July, allows for ample time to explore the natural surroundings and experience the unique Arctic summer. This is an ideal time for those interested in wildlife viewing, fishing, or simply experiencing the vast, open landscapes under the midnight sun.For those interested in experiencing the Northern Lights, late August and early September can also be a good time. While the weather starts to cool, the nights become dark enough to witness this natural phenomenon, offering a different but equally compelling reason to visit.
