It had an older charm to it, but had definitely been updated recently. It was perfect for the 2 of us and our mountain bikes. The house was spotless, smelled amazing, and was bright and airy. I LOVED the little accent of plants throughout the house, as well as the stained glass. The back deck and yard were beautiful. We had daily rain showers which unfortunately left the chairs wet, so we didn’t spend as much time out there as we would have liked. The bed and pillows were some of the best we’ve ever slept on! I’ll be asking the owner where to buy those pillows. Haha We rode our bikes everyday and loved how easy it was to explore Brevard right from the house. We even did a few longer rides (11 and 20 miles) from the house, into the mountains, and back. We enjoyed the many waterfalls just minutes away. We were also close enough to Chimney Rock and Bat Cave to serve with a disaster relief team. We were in Brevard for a few days and stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to walk to town and the surrounding neighborhoods were beautiful. This home is located close to downtown Brevard and everything Brevard has to offer. This home was very clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. One of our goals was to see a white squirrel and we did not have to go far, as there was one in the front yard when we arrived. ##### Jeffrey V. It is a 5 but, but we are older. the steps in the yard are difficult to navigate because they are uneven rocks. Plus not well lighted at night. The furnishings were quaint antique style and the property was stocked with every necessity. Check in check out was seamless and stress free.
