Sit out on the front porch on a rocking chair and listen to the birds singing. Go out to the waterfall deck and enjoy coffee while listening to relaxing sounds of the water. If you are up for exploring, hike our trails. Our rental property is on 5 acres. Go relax by the upper lake or the lower pond. We have nature trails for exploring (at your own risk and wear hiking boots). Many of the trails are very easy and some have gravel. The trails are peaceful and nearby a stream with little bridges for crossing over it. You may find a painted rock which you may either keep as a souvenir or leave for the next guest to find. Enjoy the calming water that runs through our property and if you want a workout go up the forty steps in the backyard to the top of the hill. Dogs love to play frisbee up on the hill. Our property is centrally located ten to thirty minutes from the following: Gorges State Park, downtown Brevard, DuPont State Park, Pisgah National Forest, Sassafras Mountain, Headwater Outfitters (tubing), French Broad River, many hiking and biking trails, and hundreds of waterfalls! We are located in a secluded, safe area of town away from the busy traffic of downtown. We have a paved driveway and parking is available at the top next to the house. You will check in with your own unique door code.
