We stayed one night and came back at the restaurant. We had tea and a couple of drinks at Messmer Restaurant. To our surprise, even before completing the hour, the Manager/Owner came up to us and asked us to leave without any reason. Additionally, he was being nosey about our activities and even peaked at our laptop. Very rude and very unprofessional.

Beautiful, spacious hotel, centrally located in Bregenz. Room came with a mini bar, large bathroom, and a view of the hills around the city. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We had a possible emergency situation whereby we may have needed to extend our stay. The lovely front desk manager assured me they could accommodate me and did everything to calm my concerns. The bar staff were very pleasant. Room came with a complimentary breakfast buffet that was excellent, full of healthy and fresh options, and plentiful. Highly recommend Hotel Messmer!

Awesome Hotel

Excellent location. Good size room. Breakfast was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our request to get our thermos filled with coffee were obliged with a smile each morning.

Diese ist je nach Verfügbarkeit und kostet Euro 12,- pro Nacht extra. Falls unsere Garage voll sein sollte, gibt es außen herum öffentliche Parkplätze sowie eine öffentliche Tiefgarage ein paar Meter entfernt. Everything you need under one roof.
My wife and I were on vacation and driving to Switzerland, but decided to make it a short day of driving. So we pulled up hotels.com and found the Hotel Messmer. What a gem! Right in the heart of the Bregenz. The room was bright and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly, and fortunately for us, spoke English. The were kind enough to let us keep our car in the parking area after we checked out so we could walk around in the morning to see some of the sights, before we headed out of town. I forgot to mention the price. I thought it was very reasonable for the location and quality received. We would love to come back and stay longer. And to the management team at the hotel. I loved the artwork in our room. I wanted to buy it on the spot! I would love to know the name of the artist.

Great location to central part of the city. Parking garage unground under the hotel is a great plus. We arrived in the rain with extra luggage. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious.

We would like to return
Great location - easy walk to station, buses and boats. Nice clean spacious room. Good breakfast. Convenient to leave car in car park below hotel for 12 Euros a day. Only thing we could fault was hotel restaurant which lacked atmosphere and where the service was very slow even though it was not busy, but there are plenty of reasonable places to eat within a short distance, .

Bregenz and messier hotel 1st class

Great hotel on Lake
Fantastic location. Very close to everything with steps to the lake. Breakfast was included and they had a wonderful selection.

Very good location
Very good location, right in the center of town. Close to the lake and train station as well. Very good breakfast.

Not worth the price.
Good location and friendly, attentive staff but the hotel needs updating for the price charged. The rooms were un-air-conditioned and felt more like a college dorm than a hotel.
