It was very quiet with a beautifully maintained yard and an excellent screened in porch. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. We brought our own baby gate in order to keep our pup out of the loft, but if we'd been a larger group (mostly just two of us, but our adult son stayed one night as well) there would have been ample space for us to not fall all over each other. The cottage is very charming, the screen porch is wonderful, and the master bed was super comfy (that was the only one we used). It is very close to town as the crow flies. We saw groups from our area walking into town. It is doable, but not ideal. It is in a very peaceful area, and you can see a little of the lake by looking through the lots across the street. There is a nice firepit area in back, and the gardens in front are beautiful. I didn’t realize it, but there are two baths: one large, full one off the master and a half bath outside the second befroom.
