Rizen Cottage - A Cozy Montana Getaway

Come cozy up in a beautiful one-bedroom rental located 1.5 miles from enchanting downtown Bozeman, and 1.5 miles from the MSU Campus. This delightful newly refinished rental places you just minutes from great restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, gyms, grocery stores and parks. Relax and soak in the glorious Bridger Mountains views as you gaze out on the park like back yard spreading almost a full acre surrounded with mature trees and a garden of flowers.
If you don't have a car or don't feel like driving, catch a ride. Take advantage of the free Streamline Bus Stop located just down the street, providing free transit throughout all of Bozeman, Belgrade and Gallatin valley area.

Rizen Cottage provides a separate entrance and living space with all the amenities however it is part of our personal residence. We have two kids who love to laugh, sing and play. Although we do our best to be courteous of our noise level there is noise transfer, the sound of fellow humans living their lives. Please consider this before booking with us.

Stayed at Rizen Cottage to visit with our daughter who is a grad student at MSU. The hosts and kiddos are lovely folks, apartment clean and well appointed, convenient laundry and very close to MSU and all the Bozeman fun. We ate at the Whistle Pig, Wild Crumb Bakery, Khanom Thai and Treeline for coffee. We also saw an amazing production of Rent at the Ellen in Bozeman by the Livingston community theater folks. Hope to return to Rizen Cottage again!

What a great vacation we had at the Rizen Cottage!Such hospitality, Jeni and Benj, you knocked it out of the park! Always available for any questions we had. The cottage had everything that we needed, including an amazing mattress and linens for a perfect night sleep. And a full-size bathtub for my magnesium soaks to recover after a hard day skiing. And let me mention spotless. I normally have to wash dishes and clean before I move into the kitchen, but there was absolutely no need!!The location in Bozeman was great. A short drive up the mountain to Bridger bowl, and a short drive to the north entrance of Yellowstone. We did some exploring in town and found some fabulous vintage thrift stores and upscale consignment shops. Wish I had more room in my luggage lolThank you so much for hosting us. We made some wonderful memories building a snowman with you and lovely family. We definitely need to come back in the summer to get the full Yellowstone experienceThe Millers

Jeni and Benj were excellent hosts! They greeted us when we arrived to offer a warm handshake and suggestions on the best local spots. The apartment had everything we needed, was comfortable and very clean. The trip from the apartment to Bridger is very easy! Would certainly recommend this apartment and would stay here again!

I stayed Oct 9-13 Oct for Parent’s Weekend at MSU Bozeman. Everything that was advertised was spot on, cleanliness,(I can’t emphasize the cleanliness) location and super hosts.Traveling by myself, safety is my 1st priority. The one bedroom was very welcoming, slept beautifully, the bed was amazingly comfortable. My son came over to study at the last minute, he spent the night, all good with Jeni and Benj! Perfect Location to Start Your Adventures

Beautifully maintained property that is minutes from pretty much everything within Bozeman . Also a perfect location to start your day trips outside of Bozeman where you return to a serene, lush, and cozy property to decompress. Exceeded our expectations in every way and can’t wait to visit again in winter. The host attention to detail and prompt friendly communication make this a top spot in our book.

We were in Bozeman for a family wedding and vacation and found the Rizen Cottage to be an ideal place for all of our needs. It is described as "cozy" but that didn't mean that it is "tiny" or "too small" -- it was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with access to a beautiful backyard. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with stores (supermarket, pharmacy etc) just down the street, restaurants nearby, and downtown just a few minute drive away. The host communicated throughout the process and provided great information about nearby sights. Plus the washer/dryer came in handy. We'd highly recommend staying at the Rizen Cottage!

Really enjoyed our stay the Rizen Cottage, hosts were wonder. The cottage was well appointed and comfy. A great home base while visiting the Bozeman, MSU, Yellowstone and Big Ski area. Close to downtown Bozeman for good restaurants and shopping. Plan to be back soon!

Overall, this was a great stay! Quiet, they were friendly, even had a bunny! Only suggestion would be to get a Keurig. More variety that way. Also, I think its important to note that it is a little bit of an unpaved walk from the parking & can be quite icy in the winter.

Bozeman Snowboard Trip

This was the second time staying here and it was AMAZING once again! First off, the hosts were super kind and willing to help with anything. Secondly, the property was very clean and cozy. I truly feel like I'm at home when I stay here. The bed is super comfortable and its a very relaxing atmosphere. The location is perfect. Close to both ski resorts and hiking trails. The perfect place to re-charge between your outdoor mountain adventures! Also, minutes from great restaurants and breweries in downtown Bozeman. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great spot for weekend ski escape

The property was exactly as promised and in a great location for easy access to downtown, skiing (the reason we were there) and the interstate for exploring the surrounding areas. Jeni was a great host and the place was exactly what we were looking for.

Family Friendly

Risen Cottage was a great little place for a couple or small family. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a simple meal or prepare some snacks. There were books and toys for small children and a great yard where they are safe to play. The location is close to downtown and the host had great breakfast and activity suggestions. Overall it was just right for a wedding weekend. Would book again!
