The home is one of a kind, Timber-Framed masterpiece, that embodies northern Michigan. Ski-In/Out -Located in the only gated community within Boyne Mountain, on the 1st Green of the Monument Golf Course, which also allows Ski in (Out dependent upon chair lift operation - check at the mountain for conditions ). Edelweiss is located at the top of the mountain, past the Mountain Cabins. On the backside of Disciples chairlift. Make sure you check to see if other rentals are ski-in/out, it makes a HUGE difference. Imagine not loading ski equipment and heading back and forth to the lodge. Staying at Boyne Timbers allows you the freedom to ski out in the morning, ski home for lunch then back out again! It was perfect. The house is amazing and comfortably held the three families we invited. The location to ski in and out was easy. The ski/mud room kept the chaos at bay. The kids loved the xbox and games in the basement. Beds were all comfortable and the multiple en suites made the adults happy! Perfect house for a large or mixed group. The ski lift near the house was closed to we couldn't ski in/ski out, but we knew that was a risk. We found it to be pretty easy to use the shuttle or drive down and park (we just got dropped off with the kids and had one person go park the car).
