Go for a run along the Charles River, go shopping in Beacon Hill/Back Bay, or walk to Kendall Sq Cambridge. Beacon Hill is one of the most sought after locations in Boston and this apartment is one of very few newly renovated 2 bedrooms in the area. The space includes a new stove/oven/microwave/dishwasher, brand new bathroom and nice wood floors. One bedroom is larger with a queen bed, night stand, cable TV, and full closet with built ins. The second bedroom is smaller with a full size bed night stand and full closet with built ins. The living room includes a sofa, coffee table, and chair and is open to the kitchen. The kitchen has a table with chairs for dining. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a walkup building with wide stairs. There is coin operated laundry in the basement. The apartment gets natural sunlight, but like many Boston apartments - it faces buildings across the street. Cable TV, WiFi, all Kitchen appliances/utensils/cook-ware, and shampoo/essentials. We were in town for a Celtics game, and the apartment was within walking distance to TD Garden. The apartment was overall good. The kitchen had a number of broken/missing items. Also the cleaning people did not leave enough towels which Lee took care of the next morning. Overall the price for the apartment in the neighborhood that it’s in is fair. The queen size bed in one of the bedrooms presented a problem since due to a lack of space in the room the bed was against a windowed wall and whoever was sleeping on the inside had to crawl over the person on the outside. This probably would not create an issue for a younger group but we are senior citizens and this was an issue. However the major issue was the upstairs neighbor who has no concept of apartment living. This person didn’t walk, he/she stomped around the apartment and since the floor are wood with no carpeting it reverberated. They vacuumed the apartment one night at 1030a and was up every morning prior to 6am so if you’re a light sleeper, this is a real problem. The neighborhood is wonderful and convenient to some lovely restaurants, shopping and the train which will take you anywhere in the city. My complaints are not with the owner,Lee, who was very responsive but rather with the structure of the apartment Peggy Cheyne ##### Peggy C.
