Downtown Boston is about 20 minutes via Red Line or 10 minutes by car. One street-parking permit is included. Settle in, explore on foot, and enjoy the best of Cambridge just outside your door.

Make this charming two-bedroom home your perfect Cambridge base. Tucked away on a quiet residential street just steps from Porter Square, you’ll be minutes from great cafés, shops, and the Red Line subway - making it easy to explore Harvard Square, Davis Square, and downtown Boston.  
  
Inside, the bright and comfortable space is designed for both relaxing and working from home. The living room features two cozy sofas and a smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The dining room offers a large table with seating for six, ideal for meals or game nights. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to cook at home, plus an in-unit washer and dryer for added convenience. The recently renovated bathroom features a shower/tub combo and complimentary toiletries.  
  
Both bedrooms offer queen beds and room-darkening shades for a restful night’s sleep. One bedroom also includes a large desk and comfortable workspace - perfect for remote work or study.  
  
Step outside to enjoy the quiet shared backyard, or take advantage of the included street parking pass for one car. You’ll have a private entrance with an electronic lock and a unique door code for easy self check-in. The apartment is just a 7-minute walk to the Porter Square T station. From there, it’s one stop (or a pleasant 20-minute walk from the house) to Harvard Square, or one stop in the other direction to Davis Square. Downtown Boston is about 20 minutes away by subway or car.

This is a beautiful neighborhood, very typical of Cambridge. It is a pleasant walk from the apartment to Harvard Square, allowing one to explore the area.  
  
Getting Around:  
The apartment is a 7 minutes walk away from the Porter Square T station on the red line.  
  
It is one subway stop, or a pleasant 20 minutes walk, away from Harvard Square to the South, or to lively Davis Square to the North. You can also be downtown Boston within 20 minutes by car or subway from Porter Square.

\- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM–8:00 AM. No loud music or disruptive noise.

\- A commuter rail runs nearby—you may hear it briefly during the day. There are no trains at night.  
\- This property is owner occupied, the family lives upstairs on the second floor with a separate, private entrance. The city of Cambridge requires all Airbnb’s to be owner occupied. It is a musical family & you may hear the piano briefly during daytime hours
