"I would highly recommend this beautiful accommodation in Stresa with beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. The apartment is large and spacious, apartment and gardens are kept immaculately clean by the staff. After each day out we came back to find our apartment cleaned with fresh towels and bed linen. "I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. It is immaculately clean, centrally located for boats to the islands with great amenities including our highlight which was the roof top bar. The staff could not have been more polite or helpful and the breakfast was fabulous! From being shown to our room and given a tour and suggestions for the visit, every member of staff was wonderful and welcoming! We stay in lots of hotels and this is one of our favourites. Would definitely recommend! "

"We arrived on a rainy foggy day for one night. Check in was easy & straightforward. The location is terrific and our room had a beautiful view (when its not so foggy!) The Gigi bar was very helpful. Loved the room and the decor- wish we could have stayed longer."

"This is one of our favorite hotels in the world. It is Old-World glam, and was a favorite of Ernest Hemingway's. The dining and hospitality are wonderful. We also love the sweet town of Stressa, set on Lago Maggiore. We went Baromee island hopping to beat the heat. The ferry stop was a few minutes stroll from the Hotel. Was all in all an unforgettable experience - and our second time there. We willbe back! ."

"Excellent breakfast. Beautiful lake view. Very convenient to board the ferry to the Isole Borromee. The extra money for a parking pass was well worth it. If you are there on a Saturday, the open market in Intra is about 10 minute drive away and it is big!"

"Really enjoyed this hotel. Have a nice bar that you can also access from outside. Beautiful beach and pool area. It is about a 12 minute walk to the ferry. And sometimes it can be slightly noisy. My neighbor kept me up fighting with her boyfriend. Finally called down to the desk and they had it resolved in less than 5 minutes. My friends also got their laundry washed by hotel. So that was a great service. Lots of cruise liners (Viking) use that hotel. Again quite beautiful. "
