The staff were pleasant. However: the bathroom was so small and it really could use upgrading; there was the smallest window I have ever seen that barely opened; the aircon did not work; it had zero amenities and the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. I know it says budget hotel, but this was definitely not accurately described. I would never stay here again.

Very helpful reception, nice air-conditioned room
The booking at hotels.com said check in time started at noon, but when I arrived the staff said it was 2pm and they could not give me a room, while storing luggage would cost additional 2 Euros. When I was a bit frustrated by this, another staff at the reception (Timothee) kindly helped me find a room which was ready for check-in, I appreciated his help in resolving this matter in a nice way. One good thing about staying here is that, even though it is a budget ibis hotel, breakfast is included. While we needed to check out earlier than breakfast time, we were still able to grab some pastry and coffee before we left. In addition, rooms in this hotel are equipped with air conditioning, which is very important during summer as Bordeaux can be very hot.

VERY BUDGET
I arrived late, they had wrong room ready, was super small, nothing like the photos, very old. I complained and they moved me to disabled room which was bigger but still same condition, uncomfortable beds and just old.. The breakfast was terrible also, didn't eat the 2nd day, went to a bakery

The rooms were quite small. Not surprising since it was an ibis budget. Our issue is that the air quality was very poor as the bulding has a mold problem. My husband is very reactive to mold and I am very sensitive to the smell of mold. We did our best to spend as little time inside the room as possible for our health sake. Opening windows helped but my husband still reacted and we couldn't spend any extra time inside the room beyond a few hours of sleep. It is 3 days later and my hisband is now dealing with lung issues because of this mold exposure. It wasn't only our room, our kids were in another room and their air quality/mold was just the same, as was in the hallways on multiple floors.

Not quite as Described
Need to be more upfront that the parking costs are not included and how much they are. The check in was very slow, you appear not to have the systems that are link to your suppliers. The bed was really uncomfortable. Also be more upfront about the extremely small size of the bedroom.

The location is good, and you can walk to the centre in 5 minutes. The transport is convenient that you can go to anywhere by tram or bus. The room is decent and you have no point to complain about.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room we had was very small with very little standing room. Good price for a place to put your head down for sleep. Front desk staff were incredible!

Good place to stay, excellent location.
The room is just about the right size, I only go there to sleep and store our luggage, so no need to a big room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is close to almost all touristic attractions. The shower could be a little bigger, I'm a big guy and was a little hard to shower. Overall, it's a good place to stay.

Mínimo para mínimos
O quarto era mínimo. Completamente ocupado pela cama. Sem espaço quase para nos mexermos. O w.c. Era básico com higiene duvidosa e espaço reduzidíssimo. Não sei como conseguiram colocar uma cama naquele espaço com uma janela que não se podia abrir. O pior onde já estive alojada!

This hotel is excellent value for money. It's a short walk into the centre, the rooms are air conditioned, clean and quiet. It's fairly basic but has everything you need. I would definitely stay again.

The check-in staff was very nice and the welcome was good. The room was a bit small. Very little space to move around. There was no door separating the bathroom from the room except for a bathroom curtain. The toilet was so small one needed to keep the door open to use it.

One very late night due to a selfish coach load of English teenagers on a school jolly. All room doors vang loudly otherwise they don't lock.. Kids and banging doors.. Hmmm but great location

Basic but clean
The accommodation is what it says 'Budget', it is clean and ok for somewhere to get your head down for one night. I would not recommend more than this. I would also avoid having a court view room if asked as it was a closed court yard with no air circulation and the air conditioning didn't work so very hot even when out side temperatures were 16 degrees. Breakfast was good.If you like English tea take your own for Breakfast, there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.I wouldn't recommend driving into Bordeaux as public transport is great, traffic is heavy and there is a charge for the hotel car park at £0.8 per hour

Terrible accomodation, from the unclean ststs of the rooms, to the loose wiring in the halls. Complained at the desk about the unnacceptable noise levels through the night, got fobbed off with an email address. After emailing recieved no reply, nevermind an offer of a refund. Really poor all round.

Practical, convenient and economical
We only needed a place to stay for one night before returning home. It certainly gives new definition to the word "budget", but was clean, convenient and reasonably situated. The rooms are small than expected, but functional, and even the television had English channels. Checking in and out was quick and easy, the staff was friendly and efficient, and was happy to help us in English. I wouldn't recommend it for long term holiday stay, but other than that, it was perfect for what we needed. Great job!
