Lovely little place in the heart of things

This is a perfectly lovely apartment. Very compact but makes good use of space. Being an older couple, I would say it is not for older people who have mobility or pain issues, as I do. There is no lift and it is on the second floor (3rd if you are from the US!) and the stairway is a stone winding staircase. I just about managed it twice per day. And I wish there had been somewhere to lounge in the apartment, but the chairs were not for lounging in. Other than this - which was MY issue - the place had everything, and a great shower - lots of hot water.

Great location for waking hours

No air conditioning so it was very warm. Some furniture was uncomfortable and needed repair. Neighborhood stays awake all night. Garbage and street sweeping very noisy.
