Aircon troubles
A/C is pre-setup as 'heating' instead of cooling. So got a surprise at night being too hot. You can not change it, only can be done centrally. Pillows are very uncomfortable. Apart of that it was pretty quiet and clean.

Our air conditioning system is centralised and pre-configured according to the outside temperature. The coolness of the last few nights made it switch back to heating mode. Friendly staff. Plenty of safe parking. Free snacks. Good breakfast. Easy walk to tram to ride into the city center. It is the last stop on the tram so the ride takes awhile. Bordeaux is a beautiful city. Very convenient location for an easy stop.

A great, comfortable and modern hotel
Lovely rooms with great air conditioning, big bathrooms and comfy beds. Located in a great quiet spot near to the ring road motorway but also 5 mins walk from the Bordeaux tram for easy and cheap trips into the city (€5 all day). Staff were really kind, friendly and helpful and the parking is great and secured which is excellent. Could easily be 4* if it had an open bar/restaurant I'd say, there are several restaurants and breakfast spots walk or drive away too. A great stay, highly recommend and good value

Really good place to stay
A really nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. The car park is large and well lit. The Tram Line 'A' is only 400 metres from the hotel. The breakfast menu was excellent with a good choice. We did consider taking our evening meal at the hotel, but the menu was not really up to scratch. The room was small but adequate, with lots of hot water and a very comfortable bed. I really recommend the Gardenia, it delivers economical good accommodation without fuss and bother. Yes we will stay there again

Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Super friendly staff. The only thing I missed was facilities to make a hot drink in the room but that’s fairlly normal in budget hotels like this. Would happily stay here again.

Room was clean but bare. Breakfast was simple. Left our room late for a day of exploring and still ended up getting our room cleaned and towels replaced. Very quiet despite being under an airplane travel path although we could hear guests in the hallways in the morning through the door. Excellent AC. Great black out blinds. This room had enough space that they could have included a mini fridge or kettle.

Great hotel near airport.
Our stay was for one night as we were flying to the US the next morning. The hotel was convenient, comfortable and the breakfast was very good with lots of choices. We found a nearby Italian restaurant for dinner that we greatly enjoyed. All in all, it was an excellent choice.
