Sweet retreat
This cozy cabin had everything we needed to feel right at home. Loved the artsy decor and landscaping. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck, screened in porch, and backyard hammocks. The private beach down the street was perfect for our little one to play in the calm sea and well-shaded sandy areas. Thank you for the restaurant and outing suggestions. We enjoyed Boothbay Harbor and hope to be back next summer!

Lovely summer getaway!
We loved our stay. BBH is an amazing and beautiful place. Our family enjoyed our daily adventures and our quaint cabin, which was well stocked with everything we needed. Traveling with a toddler can be a challenge, but the property manager was both knowledgeable and helpful. The cabin would be the perfect escape for a couple looking for peace and quiet and natural beauty. We are looking forward to more summer trips to this area of Maine.

Boothbay Harbor Honeymoon
My husband and I rented Machias Cabin for our honeymoon in July. The location was everything we were hoping for - peaceful and relaxed. It was also a bonus that we were able to walk to the footbridge to get into Boothbay Harbor - about 15 minutes walking from the cabin! Side note- we highly recommend Taka (Mediterranean/Seafood). It is right on the water and DELICIOUS.
We are already looking forward to our next trip up to Boothbay, and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect location to spend our first full week as husband and wife.

Perfect get away in a the best little harbor town
If you like quiet but want to walk to local shops and restaurants, then this is the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and appreciated the amenities of the cabin. It was a perfect time of year to go and the local folks could not have been more welcoming. We will recommend this to everyone.
