GREAT views, Game Room, Great family-friendly cabin with outdoor space for kids to play, gas fireplace, gas grill, AMAZING VIEW, central AC, video library, and game room with pool table, foosball and even your own slot machine. This three bedroom, loft and two bath cabin sleeps up to eight with three queens and one double. ACCOMMODATIONS: Main level: Master with queen & full bath with whirlpool tub; Second bedroom with queen, third bedroom with double, second full bath Upper level: Loft with queen Welcome to Meagan's Loft, located in Seven Devils NC - just minutes from Hawksnest for ziplining and snow tubing, this charming family cabin offers a great location in the heart of the High Country. Cozy and inviting, this traditional cabin offers a variety of options both inside and out. The neighborhood is peaceful, the elevation of over 4000' offers cool summer breezes, and there is even a porch swing to take in the breathtaking view, and some yard space for the kids to play. The living area features high beamed ceilings, large windows, comfortable seating, TV and stone-faced gas fireplace. There is a telescope for star gazing, and a unique folk-art cabinet holds the television, with dvd and vcr to take advantage of the large video library the owners have provided, perfect after a day on the slopes or out exploring the area. The dining area has a large table, with seating for eight, and around the corner, the kitchen has lots of counter space, gas range, and even has its own tv for the chef! Step out onto the large back deck to grill up today's fresh catch (you are only a few miles from some of our famous trout fishing), or watch the kids play. The front decks offer covered seating areas, and on the lower level, the porch swing is always a favorite spot. When it is time to rest up for the next day of mountain adventures, the three bedrooms plus loft bedroom here comfortably sleep up to eight. The master bedroom is off of the main living area, with queen bed, television, deck access, and private bath with unique custom inset bear tile and whirlpool tub. Follow the hall off the other side of the living area to the second bedroom, also with queen brass bed and deck access, third bedroom with double bed and unique antiques for kids of any age to enjoy, and second full bath. Upstairs, there is a large loft area, with queen bed and open to the living area below. Ready for indoor fun? Just head downstairs to the game room, with pool table, foosball table and even your own slot machine, complete with an endless supply of tokens! Enjoy the afternoon grilling up dinner on the grill. And when you decide to head out, you are just minutes from the popular Zipline and snow tubing at Hawksnest, as well as the Seven Devils municipal tennis courts and the Otter Falls. You are also close to Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Boone, and the Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain. With its cozy family touches and lovely Seven Devils setting, Meagan's Loft is a great option for your next family vacation! Meagan's Loft has convenient paved access all the way to the driveway, which is gravel. Additional Important Information: \- Firewood can be added for the chiminea on the porch with at least one week notice. It is $25 per night and includes 2 wrapped bundle of firewood and 1 fire starter. \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. \- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. \- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. \- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. \- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. \- NCREC Broker Name: Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. We arrived the evening as the snow storm was hitting and unfortunately we were pretty high up on the hill but managed to make it safely in two cars. Tables and space was perfect for poker, card games, plenty of room to have 10+ with the game room downstairs, jacuzzi, and all the rooms! We really enjoyed the hot tub in the snow, it worked and held its temp very well. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen and really the only complaint was the fireplace but after an hour we got it going haha. The cabin was not cleaned, dusty, trash still in the pails from the last renters. It snowed while we were there and we were snowed in for 4 days. The whole time we were there no one came to plow the driveway or to shovel. When we called to request essentials to be delivered, property management had the never to send out a man with a shovel and salt for us to shovel the LONG driveway to the road. It took us two days to get our vehicle out! We will never stay anywhere managed by Blue Ridge! ##### Shannon S. Really enjoyed the hot tub and at night getting snowed on. Location was perfect Only thing I could suggest is a better ignition system for the fire place and better mattress for master bedroom it was very firm. ##### giovanni C. The house is super cozy - exactly what we hoped for in a mountain vacation home. The views were breathtaking (better than the pics!). The game room was amazing for the kiddos (and the adult kids too!). It was so nice to be able to do laundry. :) There were tons of gorgeous hiking spots nearby... we went on a hike everyday. Our kids loved all of the adventures! Grandfather mountain was so fun with the cd guide as you drive to the hiking spot. Then the swinging bridge and mountain peak was like nothing else. Linville Falls was spectacular. We went to Boone one night for dinner. There's just so much nearby to do, yet the house itself makes it feel like you're fairly secluded IN the mountains. The porch wraps almost all the way around the house - perfect for taking in the 360 views. The adults drank coffee by the fireplace while the kids enjoyed playing throughout the house. All in all, it was a perfect mountain getaway for these 2 Florida beach families. Highly recommend! ##### Heidi M. This was a terrific place to stay! It was clean and cozy. Just as advertised! The kids loved the game room and hot tub. We loved the deck and the view. It was perfect. We will be back! ##### Julia M. The location was perfect and the views were amazing. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was that the oven did not work. They company sent a maintenance worker out but he could not fix it. The next day they delivered a portable oven so we were still able to cook all that we had planned.
