"Cottage is incredibly comfortable with many little details considered. Honestly the best cottage I've stayed in and i would absolutely book again. Watching eagles soar right out window, nest very easily spotted with the binoculars provided, was a highlight. Lake is beautiful and cottage feels like a good friends place, super welcoming."

"This property is beautiful and the cottage was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with kids and dog. We hiked the nearby hydro Palmer Rapids portage route every day. The kids cold plunged in the river and then warmed up by the bonfire. The river itself is majestic at this spot and the view from the cottage sofa and the screened-in porch was excellent. Kellie and Florencia were easy to get ahold of and answered any question we had. "Kevin and Laurie have been wonderful hosts. The cottage was spotless, with a lot of new modern touches. Sunsets are amazing, and we were lucky to be there post-season, so not sure how busy the beach gets during the summer. Water was very shallow. Great and safe for families with small children, but if you expecting to jump into the water this is not your location (at no fault to Laurie and Kevin!) This cottage met our goals and gave us the opportunity to unwind and relax!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay. Cottage was comfortable and the front lawn was great for playing games. We took advantage of the area's attractions such as local antique car show, biking, hiking and the Bonnechere caves. The lake is very clean and clear and was great for swimming. I would recommend the provision of a microwave and bath towels to make it even better. Overall was a great value."
