"Great value for money stay near Mount Hotham, location was fantastic, place was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was great, heaters perfectly works and water heater worked well."
"We had a great week of snowboarding in July 2025. The double room was big enough and modern - with a good bed and excellent bathroom. The breakfast good and dinner excellent. The location of the lodge is perfect: you can literally ski down to the lift and a track of the piste takes you to 20m from the lodge. Ski room and drying room are spacious and a washer/dryer for guest use was very welcome. "
"We really enjoyed staying here. Once we got sorted with best way to get to tracks & back, which if frosty drop is closed is a bus ride into town, it was much better! Made the mistake of skiing back from big D with small children, which was a bit exhausting! Great facilities, with washing machine and dryer and the boot and drying room were perfection! Host was great, and we had a fab stay!"
"Awesome accomodation. Proper European lodge vibes and fantastic service all round from delicious breakfast and dinners to a quiet drink after skiing. "
"Beautiful position over looking the valley, the warmth shown by both James and Bronwyn was a high light, they made you feel part of the family. The bar area with fireplace, piano and lovely furniture made it warm and inviting… loved my stay !! "
"It was a lovely place, and the studio apartment was perfect for our needs, but the stairs to the second story apartment were difficult for our dog to manage. If you have a small dog that can be carried up and down the stairs, I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. If your dog needs to navigate the stairs by themselves, the coarse grating and steepness of the stairs will be extremely challenging. This problem, however, could be easily solved with a dog-friendly grate on one-half of the steps and walkway (I noticed that some other apartments had a less coarse, rubber attachment to one side of the stairs, which I’m sure our dog would have handled easily.) That said, thank you to the owners for offering dog-friendly accommodation."
