Alpine Delux Cottage, 8 acres of magnificent garden on the Ovens River.
10/10 Excellent
"I really enjoyed my stay at this accommodation. The place felt warm, cozy, and welcoming, and I felt comfortable from the moment I arrived. The biggest joy was brought by gardens and peace I needed being on my long service leave. Everything was clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared. I especially appreciated the care and friendliness shown during my stay. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. Very close to my favorite hikes. Thank you John and Anne for making me feel like at home. "
Self contained cottage in 8 acres of amazing gardens adjoining the Ovens River
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a one-bed cottage, which was perfect for our anniversary getaway. It was private and secluded, tranquil and beautiful. The place had a quiet and peace to it, with lush, shaded grounds and beautiful birdlife to watch from the front verandah. The cabin is close to walking and bike trails, and even closer to the west branch of the Ovens River, which babbles in the background. I wouldn't say it is family un-friendly, but it is a quiet and peaceful place so kids might find it boring and restrictive. Depends on the kid, I guess!"
"Two families with teens enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Razorback apartment in Mt Hotham.Host John was very informative and we were prepared for our stay, a short walk from Hotham Central where we hired equipment and could catch ski lifts. The apartment was roomy, and the bedding configuration worked for us. Kitchen had the basics, the kitchen table didn't quite fit us all, but we enjoyed some home cooked meals.Apartment was comfortable, clean and tidy and was exactly what we needed as our base to enjoy the snow.We recommend the Razorback apartments."
Charming Alpine Chalet 'Faithfulls' at Dinner Plain - Pet Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"We had a family getaway which included our dog. Faithfulls was perfectly located between the trees and was great to be able to park in front of the house. Walking ability to the village with cafe, shops pub and supermarket as well as the bus to Mt Hotham. A fabulous well equipped house - our host was great checking in to make sure we had enough firewood or if we needed anything else. "
