The double room was big enough and modern - with a good bed and excellent bathroom. The breakfast good and dinner excellent. The location of the lodge is perfect: you can literally ski down to the lift and a track of the piste takes you to 20m from the lodge. Ann and Keith are excellent hosts, who genuinely care for the comfort of your stay. The lodge appears recently renovated, with no detail spared in the rooms - from hooks to hang your jackets, to dressing gowns to wear to the spa downstairs. The dinner in the restaurant was top-notch, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses of quality fare and a very good wine list. Summit Ridge is conveniently located between Village Bowl and Slalom Plaza; would be ski in/out with enough snow cover; plus has the shuttle stop no6 right outside. There is also Central Snowsports rental opposite if you need to hire gear. The room was clean so that's a plus point. Room and the ensuite were warm throughout our stay so that's good during winter. Location was somewhat away from the lift area (10 mins walk) but you could easily ski down or catch a free shuttle. Arranging for ATS (luggage transfer) is a must unless you want a good work out. Walls somewhat thin so you can hear your neighbors if they're too loud at night. Dinner was really amazing. We went with a baby and was put in a room which had a bad/stale smell of spices. Small bunk room located next to the spa room on the lower level. This older lodge has a few years behind it now so it’s not nearly as stylish and sleek as the newer accommodation in the village. However, it still gets the job done. Would go back again and again, highly recommended. The restaurant at Summit Ridge is up there with the best we have eaten at and prices were reasonable for the excellent quality of food, the breakfast included was also excellent and sets you up for the day ahead, look no further and stay here for a wonderful experience. Summit Ridge helped with all that. Provided me with a great place to stay at Falls Creek that was close enough to the action to make it easy but far enough away for peace & quite at night. The staff were friendly and helpful which again, makes for a great stay. The facilities available were more than enough to suit anyone's purposes and the food was outright outstanding. Anyone wanting a great place to stay while carving some snow.... Summit Ridge is the place for you.
