Super clean rooms , beach studio is awesome with a private beach. Lots of things to do compare to anywhere else, variety of restaurants 15 different cuisines, hookah lounge, small markets, even a smoke shop and a disco. Few pools with bars, music and entertainment day and night. Our housekeeper was great and helpful, front desk people are awesome, the Russian lady helped us and extended our check out since our flight is at night (Thank you and no additional charge). I would definitely come back to Hard Rock resort next time we are in the Maldives. Great experience, thank you all . The only thing that i did not like was the service in that ne of the restaurants which was a 3th party and not part of the resort, Tappanyaki place called Blue something, servers deff need some training ( thanks to our table chef we were able to order drinks finally he was awesome though and food was outstanding). We booked the Ocean View Suite and indeed on checking in it seems great , however later the bathroom started leaking water and it was the worst sewage smell we have ever smelt , spreading throughout the whole room .. Then at around mid night the power failed in the room , we were worried both about Hygiene and also getting and Electric Shock with the water everywhere in the bathroom. We had to beg to get another room obviously we could not stay there, we could hardly breath the smell was so bad . Initially however the reception staff said there was no other room available , we insisted and then after some calls we were found another room in sister hotel , It took almost to 2am to get sorted in the other room, The other room was tiny and extremely noisy in the front of the hotel and almost on top of a busy road. We didn't sleep. We complained at the time and also afterwards about what happened and also via hotels.com, who has tried non stop to speak with the hotel management , with no success. Management wont answer Hotels.com. You will understand that we would not of expected to pay the full price for the Ocean suite when we never had it and indeed the experience we went though. It is unbelievable we never even had an apology in any form.
