Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Bodești?
For the most pleasant weather and access to outdoor activities, the best time to visit Bodești is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October).

During these months, you'll experience mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding natural beauty without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The countryside is particularly beautiful in spring with blossoming flora and in autumn with changing leaf colours.

Couples looking for a romantic and tranquil escape will appreciate these shoulder seasons. The weather is superb for leisurely walks through the nearby forests or along the Olt River, and you'll find fewer crowds at local attractions like the monasteries or the Cozia National Park. It's also a good time for enjoying outdoor dining at local restaurants.

Families might also find these times suitable for a relaxed holiday. The cooler temperatures are comfortable for children to enjoy gentle hikes or picnics in the countryside.
