"The hotel is a little remote, but it was an easy drive to Malpensa Airport. It's a well-maintained facility, although business seemed pretty slow during my stay. The reception was very welcoming and accommodating, giving an upgrade to make certain that wifi would be accessible in the room. "Great location. Breakfast was good. We had a ln early departure on the last day and they were able to provide a boxed breakfast for us. Parking is limited. We paid for the hotel parking garage, but you need a smaller car to fit in the tight spaces. Street parking is also available and the hotel staff can explain all of your options. Staff also made good recommendations for dining and for things to do in the area. Would stay here again. "

"The hotel was overall amazing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the property is very well maintained. There is some light wear in the main areas and bathroom, but nothing that takes away from the experience. It still feels very nice, not dated at all, and hits all the important notes. It is also close to everything, making it a very convenient and enjoyable stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Loved the location."

"The Grand Bristol hotel is by far the very best of all the places we have stayed so far, in Italy. The rooms were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms with their beautiful modern design were an unexpected surprise! The beautiful gardens & pool, the luxurious rooms, the wonderful views, the warm and friendly staff made this an extra special place to stay with our family. So welcoming and hospitable for those traveling with babies too. We loved the fact that most of our excursions were walking distance, including the launch point to the boat ride to the Borromean islands. The Palace & garden tour is a must see. It was beauty beyond words!"

"Nice clean and quiet hotel. Located very close to the lakes edge. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good in the morning with plenty of choice. There is also an indoor pool. The absolute godsend in the hot/sticky weather was the use of the outdoor pool at the sister hotel. The hotel is about a 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Stresa. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s a lovely walk along the lakes edge into Stresa."

"The location was perfect. Right on the lake and close to shops and restaurants as well as access to the boats for visit to the Borromean islands. The pool was right on the lake. I didn’t see any other hotel that had that nice feature. There is also an adult only rooftop pool that is warm.Breakfast was delicious. However, the beds and pillows were quite hard."

"We were traveling with my mother who is in a wheelchair. The entrance to the hotel is very flat and easy to maneuver. There is an accessible public restroom room around the corner from the desk. The room was absolutely perfect the only change I would is a grab bar or two in the shower. Tub seat was provided for the walk/rolling shower. Showers in Europe are smaller than the US but this one was a decent sizes. Elevator worked well but is small I have attached a photo to show that only the wheelchair can fit and no other person or bag. But it does the job! Breakfast room was not handicapped accessible but my mom didn’t eat breakfast so it was not an issue. If you do want to eat on the property I would speak with the desk to find out how you can do that since it is only stairs to the room. Overall great stay with amazing c views from a wheelchair accessible room!"
