"A nice motel, a bit dated and modest, but a good value for the money. I was here during the off-season, so very quiet. There is a restaurant and bar in the lodge that has live music, but my schedule did not allow me to try either. Overall very satisfied."

"Cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. Rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. Several restaurants nearby as well as a family dollar for any items you forgot to pack. About a 5 minute ride to the Pocahontas trailhead. Drive entrance was at the top of a hill and well marked. The driveway had plenty of room to park and to get your trailer turned around. Will be looking to book again next year!"

"Grounds were well kept and staff was friendly. Breakfast had great choices and was delicious. Decent shopping center nearby and lots of restaurants. Try dolly’s diner and shoneys for good food. Overall great stay and if I was to stay in the area again this would be the choice."

"What a pleasure to stay at a friendly, clean and welcoming hotel. The staff were cheerful and very helpful, the lobby was cheery and it was so nice to see properly made oatmeal included in the breakfast line up! Thank you! I’ll be back."

"For a quick overnight stay, it was ok at best. Property definitely needs updated as carpeting, bed & bedding, dirty walls, old hotel smell, multiple bad caulk-over jobs in the tiny bathroom, hanging paint chips all need removed. For a smoke-free facility, it wasn't as someone next to my room was smoking. The only plus was the young lady that checked me in was very professional and pleasant. Didn't hang around for breakfast as we were headed to a funeral so can't comment on that."

"We had no real issues. Google takes you a goofy way into this place, thankfully one of the homeowners stopped us from tryin to pass through a road that wasnt meant to be traveled on and gave us a better route. Thats not exactly the vrbo fault - but could have been communicated beforehand. Arriving to a hotbox was uncomfortable during the summer months after the navigation error. The ac/heat unit is in the middle of the cabin, so doesnt exchange air flow comfortably into the bedroom. Even with timer turned off, it still shuts off during the night, waking up to a warmer temperature than falling asleep. But aside from that minor inconvenience, I would stay here again."
