It's perfect to just get away and relax. Do you like to fish? If so, this lovely cabin is the one for you. It sits above two small picturesque ponds. Bring a rod and fish. The pond is just a short minutes walk down the concrete drive. Want to stay in? That is perfect too! With a beautiful master suite upstairs, which features an en suite bath, you have the privacy to sleep in or just get some good old fashion rest. Love the outdoors? Soak up the outdoor fireplace, or sit in the 4 person hot tub on the screened-in porch. \*\*\*THIS PROPERTY IS NOT PET FRIENDLY\*\*\* Want to go out shopping or for a night on the town? This well-appointed cabin is only a mere 5-minute drive from the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. You can shop, ride the scenic railway, make art, eat, go out for a night at the bar, have a great dinner, and so much more! The location of this cabin is perfect! Loved the cabin. Clean and well appointed. Spent most of our time on the back porch with the outdoor fireplace. Perfect place for morning coffee and evening adult beverage. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace and the hot tub. They're was plenty of paper towels, TP, and even bath gel, lotion, shampoo and conditioner available, which was awesome. The ponds at the bottom of the driveway were lovely and we liked watching the goose that hung out there. We even saw a deer in the woods outside the cabin one morning! ##### Stacy C. It is close to Blue Ridge. About 5 min. There are several restaurants in town. Chain and local. There is a vistor center downtown by the train depot. Even businesses right by it seemed to not know where it wasexactly. We got a lot of great info on the area from the nice lady there. I would bring an extra blanket if you can. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and the quietness. My husband and I both enjoy fishing and we did have good luck fishing in the ponds. Between the two of us we caught at least 15-20 bass and a couple of bream. We do catch and release, so all of the fish went back into the ponds. It was fun! After the Friday thunderstorm we discovered leaks in 4 of the windows in the living room. I called the contact number and I was referred to an e-mail address to share photos I had made of the situation. I felt the team would respond in an effort to correct the problem and I hope they have done so.
