Rocky Top is a cozy Georgia Mountain cabin rental nestled into the My Mountain area of Morganton. You'll feel like you're on top of the world here, and truly away from it all. From the moment you arrive, you'll agree that Rocky Top has an absolutely spectacular long range mountain view.  
  
Great for a couple or family, this lovely two-bedroom, authentic log cabin has caramel-colored real log with chinking inside and out, and open beam ceilings throughout the space. Every room has a warm rustic touch, from the main room's plush leather furniture to the bear themed master bedroom, down to the fully equipped country kitchen.  
  
Start the day by whipping up pancakes in a kitchen any cook will love. Talk over your big plans for the day over breakfast, then get ready for the fun to begin. Pack a picnic and spend the day fishing or boating in nearby Lake Blue Ridge, enjoying some sunshine, cool water and fresh mountain air. Go horseback riding followed by apple picking, or head out for some biking and hiking through the hills. Tour the local vineyards for a little wine tasting. Take a tour of the area on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, stopping off in the quaint sister towns of McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN. While there, have lunch or an ice cream, shop for unique crafts or antiques, or simply have a stroll through town.  
  
Before dinnertime, the kids can play games on the screened-in porch while you grill the day's catch and prepare some easy sides. Have dinner at the picnic table, surrounded by beautiful long-range mountain views.  
  
Spend quiet evenings out on the screened-in porch, lounging on the swing or rockers with a nightcap. Or venture to the lower patio for a dip in the hot tub! Watch a movie on the 50" flat screen TV in the great room, kept warm and cozy by the corner gas fireplace. Enjoy a romantic, late night dip in the hot tub under starry skies.  
  
Kids will love the twin beds in the loft upstairs - they'll feel like they're in their own little nest above the treetops. You'll be in heaven in the main floor's king master bedroom, with a blissful sleep that will have you walking on air the next morning.

The view was absolutely amazing! Cabin was perfect for our family of 4 plus our 2 pups. It was spacious, beautiful with a lot of light and tons of windows to enjoy the view. We spent a majority of our stay out on the screened balcony —- which was huge with plenty of comfortable seating. The cabin is equipped with everything you need to cook/grill. But a warning if you have an active and very bold toddler like we do, bring a baby gate due to stairs/loft area and exercise caution when outside since the cabin is located on a pretty steep drop off. Also, the hot tub level is not screened in and the stairs to access it are also steep so watch those tiny ones! Regardless , overall it was memorable , special vacation and probably one of our best family trips!

#### Gorgeous Views

To start this off, the cabin and the view is well worth the price. That being said, I wish I’d read a little more about the service fees and the fact that this is rented through a company rather than an individual host. The price jumped up quite a bit when I went to check out and after my reservation was confirmed I received a few emails from the third party company with some additional steps needed to reserve the cabin. Not really a big deal, just wasn’t expecting it. The company this is rented through is really great, they are thorough, gave all kinds of instructions, and thought of just about every amenity. The view from decks is truly spectacular, and being able to use the hot tub, rocking chairs, or picnic tables while looking at them makes this place well worth the price. And the downtown area of Blue Ridge is only a short 20 minute drive for great food and shops. I really can’t wait to stay here again! My only suggestion would be to consider providing little bottles of cooking essentials like olive oil, seasoning, etc. I’m used to staying in places that have the basics so I didn’t think to bring any.

The view is amazing. The screened-in porch is comfortable and a great place to hang out. The kitchen has all necessary untensils and a Keurig coffee maker. Wonderful living room with tv and movie options. Comfortable master bedroom. Would definitely rent this cabin again.

My husband our German Shepard and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rocky Top. The house was the perfect size for us and the view was absolutely beautiful. The house is not to far from downtown Blue Ridge which has plenty of shopping and places to eat.

#### Mountain paradise

I legitimately want to move to this area now. Beautiful views, friendly people, lots of epic local activities. Rocky Top Cabin was nestled gently on the mountainside with everything you need to have an awesome time. Kitchen had all the tools you'll need to prepare a meal, lots of good movies to watch, hot tub with a perfect view. Spacious and clean, the cabin also felt cozy and warm despite it being chilly outside. Checkout instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. Definitely want to come back again so day!

#### The cabin was dusty, shower curtain had mold, dishes dirty, carpet smelled of pee

The view was about the only thing good about the cabin. The rug had dog urine, shower curtain had mold, screened porch had cob webs everywhere and holes in the screen so lots of bugs and couldn’t enjoy outside. I found a white comforter in the closet with urine stains… the outlets in the master did not work. Overall… paid too much for the stay. Property management came out and took the rug away and replaced the shower curtain but this was the nastiest cabin I’ve ever rented.

I have no complaints about the cabin, it was great. The rental rate vs the effective rate was a head scratcher. After applying the administration fee, cleaning fee, service fee, tax1, and tax2, that produced an effective rental rate that was 167.3% higher than the listed rental rate. It just seems that VRBO misleads with rental rate.

#### Relaxing getaway with breaktaking view

We loved this cabin for our family of three and our dog. The view was so good, we barely left except to hike. The hot tub and the screened in porch were the best features. The beds were also comfortable, and the place was immaculate. Thank you for a lovely stay.

#### Perfect quarantine weekend!

The house was easy to find and access. The property in very good condition, clean and appropriately stocked with linens, utensils, etc. Ground floor master is large and airy. The open living area was comfortably furnished. The screened in porch with an amazing view was the perfect place for our meals. The hot tub was an added bonus; though, it needs a little TLC.

#### Gorgeous Cabin.

I stayed here March 13th-15th, and it was marvelous. Both my boyfriend and I had a unique experience; it was our first time traveling together, and my first time in Blue Ridge. I would 100% stay at this property again. The view was breathtaking, and quiet. Perfect to get away from reality and find the spark in your life.
