It's nice & quiet and ideal for 2 people. The weather was beautiful - we went hiking, biking, & kayaking. Be mindful of the cruise ship schedule if you want to venture into Bar Harbor. High Tide (Bangor), Friar's Brewhouse (Bucksport), Blaze (Blue Hill), & Bunker Seafood (Birch Harbor) are all outstanding restaurants. If you're lucky like us, you might catch some music at the Barncastle Hotel nearby in Blue Hill. Fort Knox in Bucksport is worth a visit if you like history. ##### Bryan P. It is an upstairs unit with an outdoor deck. We were surprised there was no tv, but then we turned our attention to the surrounding area and the reading materials we brought. The blue hill peninsula is dotted with small towns, and we especially enjoyed the fishing village at Stonington at the tip. There was no a/c but two fans moved the air and we were comfortable.
