« Our host Lucy was most welcoming and helpful. Short walk into downtown Stratford. The property was extremely clean. I would say the room was small but the wonderful breakfast (the best we have had in our 2 and a half week stay in 7 different hotels in England) made up for that! « Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll. Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead. Very clean and well kept property. »

"The Whately is perfectly located in the centre of Banbury, nice staff, beautiful garden, complete breakfast in a spacious room. The beds are very very comfy. The building itself is wonderful, but the hotel needs a big refreshment: the carpets in the stairs are worn to the bone, covered with scotch tape, one of our curtains was torn apart, the handle was about to fall from the bedroom door, and the cold water was slow to go out from the tap. If you are looking for a place to stay in Banbury, the Whately is not perfect but is a good option in the town centre."

"Très bien pour une étape dans la région. Accueil sympathique, hôtel bien entretenu. Grande chambre familiale avec un lit double et un canapé lit confortable. Un coin cuisine et une belle terrasse. Salle de bain assez grande avec de bons produits de toilette. Très bon petit déjeuner varié, la 2ème salle de restaurant moins bruyante et plus grande a été apprécié. Nous avons diner au restaurant de l'hôtel, les plats sont bons et les prix corrects. Grand parking devant l'hôtel."

"Très bien pour une étape dans la région. Nous avions une grande chambre familiale avec un lit double et 2 lits simples sous les toits. Chambre propre, salle de bain correct. Thé/café et petits gâteaux offerts. Nous avons dîné au restaurant de l'hôtel, les plats sont typiques et bons. Petit déjeuner complet à la carte et en self service. Personnel très aimable. Petit parking, il n'y avait plus de places quand nous sommes arrivés et c'est difficile de se garer dans la ville."
