« I really liked how the property was tucked back off of the street. It was cozy and quaint little guest house. My only complaint was the water. It had a strong sulfur smell. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The main bed was very comfortable and lots of things to do, even on the rainy days! The owner was very responsive to messages. »

« The cottage was clean, comfortable, uncluttered, and well furnished. We enjoyed the view of the mountains to the east and exploring the area. »

« Excellent place to relax! Everything was lovely, perfect and simple! Only thing i'd suggest is putting a mirror up in the small A frame cottages and the ability to control the oscillating fan. Definitely will be back!! »

« My husband and I along with our newborn recently stayed at chads place. We stayed for two nights and had an amaziing time spending a few days away from home. The cottage had everything you would need and more. Perfect location to downtown Bedford and Shawnee state park. « Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. »

« This place is lovely. The owners are very considerate. I have stayed at alot of places and this one was very peaceful. In the morning enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, or tea on the porch and watch the fog roll off the water. It is about 10 mins from Bedford and that little town has alot to offer. « Love location and owners. Some adjustments are needed, this isn’t camping it’s glamping and you cannot do it halfway. Need more AC in second floor units like this one, our unit was well over 100 degrees when we arrived and never got below 80 degrees inside even when temps dipped outside at night, very uncomfortable. Husband left with our dogs on second night because it was too hot for him and them to even get comfortable enough to sleep. Hot water smelled like sewage when running and no hot...

« Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day. »
