The Riverfront Cottage is a perfect year-round getaway located along the relaxing banks of the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River. Minutes away from downtown historic Bedford, great restaurants, unique shops, stores, and Shawnee State Park. Sleeps 6 persons comfortably. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, central air/heat, fully equipped kitchen (no condiments), cable and smart TVs, high-speed Internet, washer/dryer, large river view deck, covered porch, gas grill, and private dock with ladder (ladder/railing removed in the winter). Enjoy seasonal activities- kayaking, fishing in the trout-stocked river, relaxing by the river, rafting (rafts not provided), and swimming. Four kayaks and life vests provided. Sit by the outdoor fireplace in the back and relax under the pavilion. Enjoy the other fireplace and covered swing overlooking the river, and eat and gather around the picnic table. Firewood provided. Inside cabin and outside areas not child proof. Hot tub on premises available April thru November. (Exact dates vary. If hot tub is out of service during your stay refunds are not offered, normal cancellation policy applies.) Major credit cards accepted.
