"For my birthday this year, I wanted a little peace; to get away for a little and unplug… And I did just that at Long Cove! Highly recommend coming to them if you want a place to relax and be comfortable. This place is a hidden gem! I forgot I was in Charlotte. The first morning there, we noticed the shower wasn’t working. We found out the pipes froze in our cabin (expected with the cold weather we had lately) but the staff at Long Cove immediately addressed the issue and accommodated us. We ended up being move to an even bigger cabin right next door with so much space. We stayed in cabin 7 & the view of the lake from the cabin was breathtaking; especially in the mornings when the sun is rising! The area is quiet and cabins were clean. Overall, Long Cove really is just a peaceful and comfortable place to stay; a great place for families, couples, or even solo trips if you need a break from reality. I really enjoyed my birthday getaway at Long Cove and I cannot wait to come back in the spring/ summer. "
