We recently spent two nights in Chester, staying at The Seven. We really enjoyed our visit. The hotel is in a Georgian building in a quiet, but central, area of the City. The property has been very tastefully refurbished to a high standard. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities that you would need. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. It is a new style of hotel, in that it does not offer any food. You need to go out for breakfast. However, there are plenty of excellent cafes (we used the Honey Pot) within easy walking distance. The building does not have air conditioning.
