The hotel was lovely, it was clean, in a good area where we could walk everywhere. The rooms were small, we had a double bed and single bed and we were tripping over each other. Breakfast was good. Only bad thing was being banged out of bed the first night after 11pm waking me and my 6 year old as apparently i was smoking weed in the bedroom! It obviously wasnt me but i wasnt given an apology or anything and the first morning was a bit frosty with an atmosphere. Very helpful family, tried to accommodate our needs. The kids slept well in what is essentially a B & B. I agree with some comments about small rooms and a little tired in places but good sleep was more important to me. If you don't want homely pay more, there is plenty of choice. I probably wouldn't choose this place again but if there was nowhere else I wouldn't worry either. I had less sleep in a far more expensive hotel the week before. Be realistic and you probably won't be disappointed. Lorraine and Sonia were the perfect hosts. We stayed two extra nights. We had breakfast at a charge of £4 each per day and it was perfect. We would highly recommend. We will be returning next year. Just back from a weekend stay with my wee girl and partner. Had such a lovely comfortable stay. Family run business that made us feel welcome. Promenade within walking distance and beach. Overall a fantastic stay and will return.
