Almost 3600 square feet with nearly 200' of beautiful and sandy lake shore with a gorgeous swimming beach with two docks and a boathouse. Pontoon boat on site is available for rental, as well! Gaze at the stars from the beautiful wrap-around deck. Spend the day relaxing in the shallow sandy water. Enjoy the evening with a bonfire on the beach shore, playing bags from the walkout basement, with tons of activities to keep the family busy: playground, dartboard, Air hockey table, Shuffleboard table, pac-man video games, pellet smoker/grill, foosball, sauna, wet bar, TV's, Internet, and too many other things to list! Grandkids enjoyed the play equipment and all enjoyed the lily pad. Lake was shallow and had a sandy bottom. Pontoon was great for touring the lake and anchoring near the sand bar for swimming. Good communications & response time.Challenges: Furnace had issues (cold house when checking in), lots of lady bugs trying to hibernate in the house. I had to light the pilot light to the fireplace.Summary: While really nice, I don't think it was worth the high cost to stay at the house, given the challenges we had.Recommendation to owner/operator: Put a "temperature stick" in the house to be aware of when there are furnace issues. We had a crew from a few places over Minnesota meet up for a race weekend at Giant's Ridge. We were able to all get to spend some much needed time together to catch up, all while having plenty of room for gear and being less than 10 minutes from the hill. Lots to do inside and out, which was great because a few days the weather was not great. Ended up having a ping pong and air hockey tournament. Kids had fun fishing, swimming, and hunting for crawfish. They let us bring our dogs who also enjoyed taking evening pontoon rides and swimming. Everything was wonderful. There are multiple spaces for kids to spend time. There are activities for them to do, and large hang out spaces including a huge dinning room table! The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are big, and the linens are fresh. The host is amazing! So helpful and kind! We can't wait for next year!! ##### margaret s. Only about 6 minutes away from Giants Ridge. Overall House was great. The upstairs was a nice chill area by the fireplace. While downstairs was a fun hangout spot with the TV and game room along with a bar area and sauna! Overall was a great experience. I really want to stress that I think the home is better than the pictures, which is never expected. As every family member arrived it was awesome seeing how excited they were when they toured the house, lake and grounds. The lake is pretty shallow but very nice to use for canoes and kayaks. The game room wasn’t fun as there wasn’t a fous ball anywhere and the shuffle board had no sand.
