The Josephine room was amazing. We booked it for a week over Christmas with the goal of having a place where we could hunker down and cook a nice meal on the 24th and 25th. The place was perfect. It's a short walk into town and the Christmas market, or you can walk along the canal, or even head into the hills for a hike which we took advantage of on a couple occasions.
It's also a quick walk to the train station which provides easy access to the wonders of Strasbourg.

This hotel is housed in a beautiful building in a quaint little town, about 18 km north of Strasbourg.
The staff were excellent, the room was perfectly adequate, and the restaurant was superb - not to be missed.
There is also a little pool amd saunas for guest use, in a newer building across the street. Not for lap swimming, but a nice feature nonetheless.
