Okay.
Staff were nice but the hotel needs a bit of love. I was moved rooms from a room where my back door doesn’t lock. The new room you had to lock from inside and pull to. Overall okay stay, won’t be going back but not awful.
Shower wasn’t working at all, no hot water in washbasin tap, no heating in the room, later then found that the room lock was broke then decided to check out after few hours of checking in.
I would not book again. The only reason I booked this hotel was because premier inn was fully booked.
No glasses or cups in the room. The soap dispensers were both empty. The room was cold even though I told the receptionist nothing was done. The corridors leading to my room smelt of damp and still under going work.

Bed was clean. Bathroom not so much. Couldn’t lock my patio doors and was on the ground floor so any other guest could have accessed my room during the night... bit worrying when travelling and staying alone to be honest. Wasn’t given a wifi password so couldn’t access the WiFi either. However if you’re just looking for basic accommodation (ie a bed and a toilet) then it ticks the boxes.
Very dirty room, uncomfortable bed, mould and damp on the walls and curtains.
Also a £50 deposit not listed on the site is requested before you check in.
WiFi is non existent.
We stayed in rooms 35 and 38 located on 1st floor at the back of the building. It was too warm and the heating could not be adjusted. The floor was creeking every time the people next door walked and they carried on walking until midnight. The hotel is very run down but our rooms were clean and the beds were actually comfortable. The hair dryer was missing as well. I would not stay at this hotel again unfortunately. It is cheap but gladly would have paid more knowing I will not manage to rest in this hotel.
Not great, amazing how somewhere like this is allowed to remain open, rooms were terrible, could smell weed in the building, heaters couldn’t be turned off or down as the knobs had been removed, door didn’t close properly, cobwebs everywhere, don’t be fooled by the photos being presented, this place needs to be shut down. Also paid a 50 pound deposit that I was told I would receive back after leaving, never happened, over all a terrible experience and I will not be staying here again, disgusting and grim. Don’t be fooled by the pictures and average comment ratings, this place is grim!
For a standard double bed room for £40 its definitely worth going, nice bed, bathroom and nice tv as well but i still haven't got my £50 back as it would say i would be refunded back after my stay and need it asap but other than that i would highly recommend
The hotel is very poorly ran. I still have not recieved my deposit as the money was not available to reinburse me which i find unbelievable.
I would not advise anyone to stay at this property and would certainly not recommend for any reason.
I didnt like the £50 on my card as a deposit , and the room was falling apart ie main door handle wasnt very safe it was very loose and the carpets are all stained and so was the wallpaper
It was terrible. Dirty, smelly and had no cups to make a coffe. Bathroom was leaking and dirty. I have never been to a worst hotel than this. Stay away from it.
It was very disappointing the place smells of damp throughout the building..the bedroom was big but very cold or freezing..the heating was not working it was that bad i left at 12.30 same night and drove home down south.....
The bed was comfortable and that’s probably the only decent thing. The receptionist had bad attitude, the shower wasn’t working, the bath was super dirty and when we asked for a plug for the bath the lady looked at us like we were crazy..

Fix the heating please
Have stayed here before.was clean with nice rooms.the staff are lovely helpful and friendly.this time was dissapointing as the heating didnt work.the room was soo cold did report it to staff and they said theyd try and sort it.i think they need to sort the boiler out.i would have given the place a 10 out of 10 if it hadnt been so cold in our room.
What can I say, the whole place is dirty and in need of repair. Shower door missing off shower, heating on full blast and no windows to open, patio door lock broke so won’t open. I stayed here with my 10 year old daughter for a treat but it was far from that. Very noisy all through the night with a male group talking and shouting and lots of door banging. Slug marks everywhere in the room. The lady on reception was lovely tho. I wouldn’t stay here again if it was the last hotel on earth, I would rather sleep in my car. Atrocious !!!!

Don't expect a lot because it's lower than basic.
Needs upgrading. Two hot taps on basin. Radiator cover hanging off. No wardrobe doors. One pillow each in double bed. Tatty toilet roll holder.
Unuseable shower, bath not cleaned because of it. Dripping tap on bath.
First room had a leak when flushing toilet. Water gushed from soil pipe.
No remote for telly but only foreign channels anyway. DVT B programmes.
The outside steps to reception need fixing before anyone falls on them.
Smell of stale sweat and stale smoke on entry.
showers and all tapes and sink was dirty and there was no toilet brush at the toilet. Water from the tapes was cold even on red tapes were one would expect hot or warm water. The heating system seems not to be functioning and that means that situation might be terrible during winter. Door was unlocable and difficult to closed the door from both inside and outside. The only way to close it was to bang it. Doors have ancient door handles and I think they can be modernised if hotel has the means.
Un catastrophe cette hôtel, la chambre était salle les draps avec des taches de sang, j’ai demandé à que me change la chambre : impossible d’âpres le personnel.
Most atrocious hotel i have ever been in in my entire life this place should be closed down and as for a refund good luck you just get passed back and forth from the booking agent to the hotel and back all submitted pictures were taken during our stay in HOTEL FROM HELL
Well first room the door Handel was hanging off the door. moved rooms and that was just as bad every tap was leaking. The shower curtain couldn’t stop the water from going on the floor. There was water damage in most of the walls and ceiling not very good and to top it of no wifi…
I don’t usually complain and I stay in many hotels of all quality’s and price. This one was exceptionally bad! First of all finding check in is down the side up some stairs and In through the door all of this looked like a service entrance. The lad on reception was new and apologetic that he didn’t know the rooms. No issues with his we all start fresh at one point. He took me down and found a room for me I went in put my bags down and went to the bathroom noticed the sink had a hole in it and that the taps were dripping and gurgling. Went to the room the tv was smashed. Went and changed rooms and the new room was better but still awful! The taps still leaked having marked the sink the bathroom was filthy and part used toilet rolls left (not very Covid safe) the bath was dirty and the water came out brown then went cloudy. The bed was okay for a sleep over the wardrobe had no doors or hangers. The wall had been patched painted. Found drug paraphernalia in both rooms. Only got photos of the second room sadly.
For Covid safety i would advise finding another hotel. This needs a serious revamp and a is letting down the OYO name!
