Le Grand Hotel
5/5 Excellent
"Great location and free breakfast. Location excellent for train station and central Strasbourg."
"The hotel is situated within a few hundred metres of the railway station. Level walk. Very safe. Hotel its self is a refurbished older building in beautiful condition. "

"Wonderful stay. Perfect spot if you want to be on the historic center of the city. My room did not have a balcony but many large windows the opened to let the sunshine and breezes in. Very large bathroom.
Staff was warm and friendly and fluent in several languages; breakfast was very good. There is also a lovely and comfortable sitting area just off the lobby where you can relax and where they provide copies of top international newspapers each morning, including Le Monde and the New York Times. Photo is the view from my room. I asked for Double but ended up with large room with two twins and a set of bunk beds. I appreciated the large room and would be perfect for several friends traveling together or a family, even with smaller children!"

"This property is wonderful. We loved the location, staff, room clean very nice. This hotel is really close to the train station walking distance was perfect for us. They also let us borrow an electric adapter. It rained one day they gave us umbrellas to use. They went out of there way to make our stay amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Here are the downsides; not to discourage you from staying here but to inform you. The bed was hard and uncomfortable for us. Linens were good. Place is clean, made service lady very nice.
The shower door needs to be wider it’s hard to keep the water 🚿 in and not get the floor wet.
Our window was right at the front corner. Beautiful view but the night light across the walkway is bright. You can’t leave your window open because of that light. I loved it otherwise. Shopping, exploring and eating is everywhere close. Plus the hotel offers food.
Strasbourg is incredible, this is a great place to stay and we recommend it! "

"The room was excellent. It was very clean and well kept. I also loved the big windows and how big the room was. The hotel staff were super friendly and provided great customer service. The breakfast was great as well, they had a self serve open buffet. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in France so far. I would definitely book again. "
