"Great combination of a microbrewery, restaurant and comfortable accommodation "

"STUNNING! The place is absolutely beautiful, tranquil and peaceful. Lovely sounds of birds all the time. Lovely, lovely accommodation, food and friendly service!"

"Great staff, wonderful room and views, exceptional food and atmosphere"

"We had bats living in our roof, apparently knowingly by the owner (they built a house for them on the near cabin and they migrated to ours). We had to go to bed and sleep with constraint scratching and sliding noises, that was terrible. When we brought it to the attention of the team, they didn’t even bother apologising. The dinning experience over dinner and breakfast was terrible - worst service I’ve seen for a while and average food (it’s quite expensive considering its surroundings). Stay...

"Wonderful location, super friendly staff"

"Spectacular views with great rooms and accommodating team"

"This was a great hotel to land for a couple nights in Plettenberg. The staff was delightful especially upon our arrival we were a bit frazzled from a long drive and Kima greeted us to help us Park and get our bags to our room. The in Hotel restaurant is excellent, we ate the oxtail and the breakfast is fabulous. Two doors away is a place called 11 that we rented bikes from. The property is clean and we had a City View Suite that had plenty of room to spread out and a balcony. The property is...

"Staff were amazing, prime location and spacious rooms. "

"A nice resort for families with young children. Well appointed room with a functional kitchenette. Bright and cheery place."

"We really enjoyed our stay and we can recommend to Come there."

"What an incredible experience at Alkantmooi!! From the first contact we had at the reception with the friendly and helpful staff, to the impeccably neat and modern room, we absolutely LOVED our night here! The best part is the tranquility of the reserve and the drop-dead gorgeous view of the Keurbooms lagoon. WOW!! We will definitely be back... and stay longer next time ;)"

"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."

"Clean Great place to stay "
