"This was our first night in Costa Rica. We picked to stay here to split the drive to la fortuna and to be able to stop at Rio Celeste. It’s close to Rio Celeste. The town itself seems abanded. The owner of this property is very sweet. The area is loud, close to the road and constantly hearing traffic. The cabin type room has a large portable fan which was great. Shower works well. Good stay for 1 night. "

"This place is absolutely beautiful and so unique. Exactly what you you would want to experience in a Costa Rica jungle. As we arrived early evening, we saw a faimly of holler monkeys, even the mama and baby! We walked the amazing well kept grounds and were in awe with the 500 yr. old tree. "Cute home and 5star clean**. The owner was great, we had to call because we were lost and he stayed on the phone and guided every step of the way, thank you!!!! We did not have to leave this property to see sloths, monkeys, toucans, etc. The view was amazing, could have been better had it not rained the whole time we visited. No tour buses. Close to hanging bridges, waterfalls, wildlife. Close enough to town for shopping and local restaurants. Just a pass through for tourists so no crowds."

"We were there for just a one night stay. Clean and all we needed to crash after a long day! There’s a beautiful view of the lake and a nice yard as well. The owner was a little more chatty than needed but was very kind. No wearing your shoes inside which seemed a little odd as our feet were dirtier than our shoes. Overall a nice place and would definitely recommend!"

"The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!"

"Beautiful, serene property. Very nice host and hostess. Loved the waterfall hike. It was the highlight of our trip. We were there by ourselves and could swim. If you’re into exploring and not a resort travel style this place is fabulous. We came here from JW in Guanacaste and loved this more than the resort. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and tastefully served. Be mindful of the hike though. Not super easy. Hiking shoes , poles and certainly water shoes, towel, and water are a must. "
