One thing that did come as a surprise was learning that the owner lives in a separate apartment above the attached garage. We were only made aware 24 hours before our stay began. While we didn’t see him once during our stay, we did hear the dog every time we went to our cars. We’d definitely stay at this property again but would have appreciated this info disclosed up front.
