"The hotel islocated in an old abbey but the inside apartments are modern, comfortable and clean. The kitchen and supplies are perfect for a simple meal and breakfast to save money if on a budget. The bathroom was spacious for European standards and the bed very comfortable. "

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Belle maison ancienne spacieuse et claire. Ideale pour un séjour en famille. Nous étions entre 12 et 14 adultes et la table de la salle à manger était suffisante pour prendre les repas tous ensemble. Buanderie bien équipée et extérieur agréable. Accueil sympathique par Sandrine. "

The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. "Malgré le temps nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette belle région. Pour le logement, belle maison extérieur et belle piscine. Mais par contre pour l' intérieur très fouilli, trop encombrée de vieilles choses, la cuisine trop petite et non fonctionnelle, l' électricité pas trop au normes pour des locations, mal entretenue, nid de poussières et d'acariens, les personnes allergiques s'obstenir !!!! Malgré tout ça les propriétaires très accueillants."

"This appart-hotel is about a ten minute walk to the centre of Angouleme and the comic strip museum is nearby. The rooms are clean with a kitchenette and a shower room. Breakfast is reasonable for under 10 euros. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Altogether a good stay. "

The bistro style dining was excellent and we took the smaller breakfast option which was great too. The central location is perfect, right in the heart of the old hilltop town with many historic buildings and great views. "

"Not too bad but the car park is in a poor state and up the street from the hotel entrance .. which is not great when it is raining and you have to drag your luggage along uneven pavements and over bumps and potholes all while getting soaking wet."

We LOVE this place!!!

"This is our second time staying here while driving from Netherlands to San Sebastian. The first time was so great we did it again and this time was even better. The staff is 10/10 amazing. Very patient with my bad French even thought they spoke English perfectly. Claire even spoke a good amount of Dutch. She checked us in and helped us with the menu and was overall a sparkling ray of sunshine. The dinner and drinks were great. This is a classic motel. Clean, hot shower, comfy bed, fabulous staff, close to the highway. It is older but not in a bad way. It has character and is just a great place!"
