The reason my overall assessment of the hotel is so poor is because the WiFi was effectively useless for me. My employer requires me to connect to a VPN to use most online services. The hotel WiFi was filtering VPN traffic, thus I was not able to use it for even basic things (e.g., checking email). Instead, I was forced to tether my laptop to my phone, through which I could connect to my employer's VPN. This of course left me with a very slow internet connection. Although the hotel is quite nice overall, the lack of functional WiFi was a real detriment for me. I would say that if internet access is not important, this hotel is great. Way nicer than the Convention Center hotel and an easy 10-15 minute walk. A very nice free buffet breakfast in the morning and beautiful lounges for tea and dining on the 21st floor.
