We were at the hotel for 4 nights and it was really convenient for everything. The bar in the hotel was fab and the service charming. Highly recommend. Oh and great value for money. The front grounds are beautiful and the location is good. The beds were on the hard side, but not terrible. Some staff were nice and helpful, but others seemed like they didn’t want to help, though they could speak English very well. The biggest problem: the WiFi service was terrible and barely worked, even after I asked them for help getting connected. Chinese customer service is pretty terrible-we ordered room service twice and had a terrible experience each time as person taking order was very rude and downright difficult. Cantonese restaurant at hotel brought me one glass of juice, then charged me for a whole pitcher of pear juice that I did not drink. Also tried to charge me for using paper napkins on the table. Shouldn’t a napkin be included in the price of the dish?
